Joke Liberge was born to French/Dutch parents in Holland. Studied film science and film directing in Amsterdam and currently works and lives in Brussels, Belgium.
 
She made the short films JANA (2001) MEANDER (2005) and I LOVE YOU (2007).
 
These films were shown around the world, received various national and  international prices and were programmed by prestigious venues as the Centre Pompidou in Paris and the BFI in London.
 
She also wrote several scripts, made music videos and is currently working on an installation in collaboration with flemish writer Bart Moeyaert.

Her main attention goes to the developing and realisation of her first feature film: OVERNIGHT.
