Joke Liberge was born to French/Dutch parents in Holland. Studied film science and film directing in Amsterdam and currently works and lives in Brussels, Belgium.

In 2001 she made the medium length film JANA and in 2005 the short film MEANDER.

MEANDER has received various national and international prices, was selected at numerous festivals worldwide and programmed by prestigious venues as
the Centre Pompidou in Paris and the BFI in London.

She also makes music videos and recent collaboration with flemish graphic artists
‘De Letterleggers’ and musician STIJN resulted in the animated micro movie named
I LOVE YOU.

Her attention now goes to the developing and realisation of her first feature film.
